I worked as a Design Intern at LoveShackFancy, supporting the print, embellishment, knits, and wovens teams. My role involved hands-on work across multiple areas of the design process. I worked on editing print colors, cleaning up artwork, designing layouts, and fully designing and cutting embellishment pieces, including deciding their placement on garments.
In addition to the creative process, I gained experience in the production side of the industry, assisting with CAD submissions, tech packs, product specifications, and reviewing comments on strike-offs. The work I contributed to was developed for multiple collections, including Spring and Summer 2025, and was produced and sold in stores.

I worked on the design and development of the eyelet motif for the Charlotte Eyelet Wide-Leg Pants, focusing on the sizing, placement, and overall layout of the eyelets. Through an intensive process of over 50 layout iterations, I refined the composition to achieve a balanced, cohesive design. The final version was selected for production and is now available in stores.

Working on the print was an incredible learning experience. I was involved in every step, from cleaning up the artwork to matching paints with color chips. I had never been exposed to such an in-depth look at the print process within the fashion industry before. It was fascinating to see how a print goes from an initial concept to a final product, and just how much work happens behind the scenes like selecting the perfect colors, making adjustments, and refining the details. Seeing the final design come to life on pants and a top and now knowing it’s available in stores, was such a rewarding moment.

After exploring over 35 layout variations, I landed on a final composition that felt both harmonious and dynamic. The design was selected for production and has since sold out on LoveShackFancy.com.

Through a process of over 20 design iterations, I refined the layout to enhance both structure and delicacy. The final design was approved for production and incorporated into the collection.

I had the incredible opportunity to work on founder Rebecca Hessel Cohen’s Golden Era bespoke dress, created for her fragrance campaign shoot in Italy. I assisted in assembling the dress by helping piece together the fabric and thoughtfully arranging the color placement and layout of the handkerchiefs, contributing to the overall structure and design. It was an exhilarating experience to see a garment I helped build flown to Italy for such a high-profile shoot. This project also sparked a newfound appreciation for tulle and its creative versatility—an influence that carried into my own senior collection, To the Moon and Back.

Throughout a thoughtful development process that included over 20 layout variations, I refined the placement and scale of the eyelets to create a look that felt airy yet intentional. The final design blends structure with softness, making it the perfect lightweight layer for a polished beach day look.
